So that’s the end of the racing season now and what an exciting year it has been. Signing my first professional contract to race at the start of the season boosted my confidence. Thanks to the support of What The Fork, i was able to focus entirely on just racing the car and worry less on funding and everything else that goes on behind the scenes.
This season I was racing in Germany in the VLN Endurance Championship. The way that the calendar worked out, I was racing on average once every 2 weeks. This meant having to fly off to germany twice a month. Thanks to What The Fork, this wasn’t a problem. They gave me the time off work every time i had to go away to race.
I was very proud to be able to carry the What The Fork logo on the car this season. Starting off in the BMW M240i, i quickly proved my worth and was promoted into the BMW M4 GT4 car for the last race of the season around the famous Nurburgring Nordschleife. I proved to be fast in that too. Thanks to Walkenhorst Motorsport, they gave me the tools to be able to do the job. Being an ambassador for What The Fork as well as The Cookie Jar Foundation was a real privilege and i hope to continue working with them in the future.
