This year’s national vegetarian week runs from the 16th until the 22nd of May. Whilst most of you love eating meat and would never go vegetarian, this week offers you the chance to try need food and expand your culinary horizon.   

This doesn’t have to be a boring sandwich or plain chips, we have put together a list of 4 takeaways on What The Fork that have delicious unique vegetarian options that you must try! 

Chopsticks, Rosyth

Chopsticks  has a wide range of vegetarian dishes that you must try. Some of their dishes include Tofu (Beancurd) & Chinese Leaves, Pak Choi (Chinese Green) in Oyster Sauce (Vegetarian), Mixed Vegetables in Black Bean Sauce, Salt n Spicy Pizza Crunch and Salt n Spicy Hash Browns. 

They are available for collection and delivery everyday from 4pm to 10pm on What The Fork!

Bonnie Burrito, Edinburgh

Bonnie Burrio are a delicious burrito shop that serves the best food! They are located on South Clerk Street, near the Royal Commonwealth Pool and The Meadows in Newington. Their menu includes a range of vegetarian options including vegan chicken, vegetarian haggis and fajita pepper burritos and nachos. 

Bonnie Burrito have a second location called Bonnie Events, they are located on Anderson Place in Leith. They offer the same build your own options, as well as a veggie supreme burrito.

Bonnie Burrito is open from 11:30 am to 9:45pm everyday for collection.  Bonnie Events is open from 4:30pm to 9:30pm on Wednesday and Friday to Sunday. Order now through What The Fork

The Dine, Broxburn

The Dine is located on East Main Street in Broxburn, West Lothian. They have a range of delicious vegetarian dishes, such as paneer butter masala, saag paneer, vegetable biryani and paneer tikka starter.

They won the Best Loved Restaurant at the Scottish Curry Awards 2021. This year they are nominated for two categories at the Scottish Curry Awards 2022, the Best Dining Experience of the Year, and Takeaway and Home Delivery of the Year. 

The Dine is open for delivery and collection from 3pm to 9:30pm  on Sunday and Tuesday, 3:30pm to 9:30pm on Wednesday and Thursday, and 3:30pm to 10:30pm on Friday and Saturday. Order now through What The Fork!

Civerino's Slice, Edinburgh

Civerino’s Slice has three locations on What The Fork, Forrest Road in the heart of Edinburgh old town, West Slice located in Corstorphine and Prom Slice located on Portobello beach. They serve a range of delicious vegetarian and vegan pizza’s, and delicious sides.

Civerino’s Slice Forest Road is open for collection everyday between 11am and 11pm, and for delivery from 4pm to 11pm Monday to Thursday, 12pm to 11pm Friday and Saturday, and 12pm to 9pm on Sunday. Civerino’s Slice Corstorphine is open for delivery and collection….  Civerino’s Slice Portobello is open for collection everyday between 11am and 9pm, and 5pm to 8:30pm for delivery.
