If you’ve been living under a rock over the past few days let me give you a brief overview of what’s been going on in bonnie Scotland … All pubs and restaurants across the central belt of Scotland have been ordered to close since last Friday onwards supposedly this is aimed at tackling the increase in coronavirus cases over the past few weeks; The areas affected include Great Glasgow and Clyde, Ayrshire and Arran, Lanarkshire, Forth Valley, and Edinburgh.
We had to say goodbye to our beloved bars & restaurants on Friday at 6pm however if things improve, Covid wise, then we could hopefully be welcoming them back as early as the 25th October. Those within the area who do not have an alcohol license will be able to remain open in order for our loved ones to visit for a coffee or two. In other areas around Scotland, pubs and restaurants will remain open but, alcohol will only be served outdoors. However, it’s not ALL bad news … Takeaways will still be permitted! YAY!
